This oversized chef’s kitchen boasts so many fun features: Quartz countertops, a 20ft kitchen island, built-in ice maker in the island, breakfast bar for additional seating, 2 dishwashers, beverage refrigerator, huge pantry with barn doors and Phillips HUE ”hidden” lightning to add a pop of color to the kitchen.
This short-term rental remodel was a far reach. The previous homeowner had a ‘thing’ for the medieval – which included doors that resembled dragon skin, and Knights flanking the hallways. To each their own. To take out the medieval and modernize, all surfaces were given love.
We love turning normal homes into short-term rentals where there’s so much fun shoved in limited square footage. With this home, the investor wanted to make sure there were plenty of places for guests to play and mingle. So on top of the open concept kitchen, we created a secondary bar area, that basically is a mini kitchen.
The Anthony Family headed to the beach, and were so excited to arrive back stateside to a whole new masterpiece of a hall bathroom for their young daughter.
From the kitchen, you can easily look out to the backyard while the 7 year plays for additional safety. It also leaves the kitchen feeling less separated from the dining space. By reducing the height of a wall, the new design opened up opportunity for more light, with an new option for a breakfast bar.

In this Home Makeover, we doubled the square footage of the kitchen. This added about 30 additional linear footage of countertops, leading to happy homeowners.
Many customers want to make changes to the plan as the new look unfolds. When these changes come up, we will ask that you discuss your requests with our Project Manager and sign a Change Order Form confirming any desired changes.
